Challenge

Walking comfort and gendered experience in public space still need better spatial evidence for councils planning streets, parks, and local trips.

Approach

YourWalk builds on the YourGround research partnership with Monash XYX Lab, focusing on everyday walking. Residents set what matters — lighting, footpaths, shade — and get scored route options. Councils get insight into how people move through local networks.

Status

In progress with Victorian council partners. CrowdLab is delivering the platform with research partners. Awards and the full partner list can be published as they are cleared for the website.
