Who we are

CrowdLab (operated by Anthony Aisenberg / CrowdLab) provides spatial data tools and consulting for planners, councils, and community organisations. This policy covers crowdlab.com.au and related contact or newsletter forms on this site.

Product-specific tools (for example CrashDash, CrowdSpot campaigns, or Find my School) may have their own privacy notices. Where those apply, they sit alongside this policy for that product.

What we collect on this website

  • Contact form: name, email, optional organisation, and your message. We use these only to reply to your enquiry.
  • Newsletter: email address, and name if you provided it with an opt-in. We only add you to our updates list when you subscribe on the homepage or tick the optional checkbox on the contact form.
  • Technical data: standard server and security logs (for example IP address, browser type) that may be processed by our hosting provider to run and protect the site.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics collects aggregated usage data (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location) so we can understand how the site is used. It uses cookies or similar technologies.

How we use it

  • Respond to discovery chats and project enquiries
  • Send CrowdLab updates if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • Keep the website secure and reliable
  • Understand site traffic and improve content (via Google Analytics)

We do not sell personal information. We do not use contact form submissions for marketing unless you explicitly opt in.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to operate this site. They only process data on our instructions:

  • Resend — delivers contact form notifications to us
  • MailerLite — stores newsletter subscribers when you opt in
  • Vercel — hosts this website
  • Google Analytics — measures website usage

Storage

Enquiry emails and subscriber records are stored with those providers. We keep contact messages as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then delete or archive them in line with ordinary business practice.

Your choices

You can ask to access or correct personal information we hold, or to unsubscribe from updates. Contact hello@crowdlab.com.au.

If you have a complaint about how we handle your information, email us first. You may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Updates

We may update this policy when our practices or tools change. The date at the top of this page will be revised when we do.
